World Trade Press Atlases
Once we had the green light for these books, the creative team hit the ground running. We had about six weeks from start to finish. The map classifications and areas were worked out by the company CEO and a cartographer. They were initially created with mapping software, and brought in to Adobe Illustrator for refinement. The first atlas was a general world atlas with information geared to the international trade community, a specialization of World Trade Press. Once completed, we began work on a world travel atlas with special sections that would appeal to travelers. The world atlas had 192 pages; the travel atlas had 212 pages. My contribution – design, illustration, production.
